The Data Analytics Associate Degree program will prepare learners to map, interpret and strategically use data as it is used across several sectors. Learners will identify data patterns and relationships, map data across different sources, create databases and reports, apply statistical tools, practice problem solving and strategic thinking and utilize technology to meet tactical objectives related to data. Learners will get practice on real-life data sets from across industry sectors such as agriculture, information technology, manufacturing and healthcare. Learners will gain an understanding of tools and tactics such as data-specific programming languages, machine learning, Internet of Things (IoT) and automation in order to understand how internal and external data can be leveraged to improve efficiencies and make decisions.
