Senior Data Analyst, Product job description

The Sr. Product Analyst reports to the Director, Digital Product Analytics and Optimization. In this role your primary focus will be analyzing and optimizing Progyny’s digital properties while overseeing implementation. You will also help with performing social listening analysis to measure brand sentiment and understand the industry and perception. We are looking for a curious thinker and a storyteller with the ability to identify trends and insights to effectively optimize our members’ journey.

What you’ll do...

Create dashboards and reports as well as meaningful KPIs for our digital properties to help stakeholders reach their goals.

Analyze users’ behavior and partner with key stakeholders to collaborate on how to optimize their experience.

Conduct A/B tests with Product Managers and UI/UX designers, evaluate results with a clear understanding of incremental benefit.

Perform in-depth analysis to monitor the health of digital properties across all data sources, identifying any bugs or data inconsistencies to improve performance.

Recommend and create measurement plans to tag and test web and mobile properties to ensure important actions/engagements are properly tracked and reported.

Effectively communicate results of analyses to stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations.

Analyze social media data, identifying trends, sentiment, and consumer insights.

Senior Data Analyst, Product job requirements

About you...

4 years or more experience as a digital analyst.

Proficient in Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Amplitude, Pendo or Mixpanel

Strong experience creating measurement plans, debugging, and communicating with engineers.

Experience partnering on product usage for data insights to drive product strategy and roadmap

Experience partnering with product and design on A/B testing

Ability to create clear data visualizations for diverse stakeholders in Power Bi or Tableau.

Ability to take complex data sets and synthesize them into concise and actionable recommendations.

Strong communications and presentations skills

Knowledge of SQL or other programming languages (Python, R).

Nice-to-have Skills:

Experience with social listening and analyzing social media data.

Experience with GTM (Google Tag Manager).

Other Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Ability to effectively manage evolving priorities, multiple projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
