Job Description & Responsibilities
Mission Field is seeking an analytics professional who
thrives on the opportunity to design and manage quantitative experiments, collect and manage raw data, conduct analyses using statistical methods and distill it into a cohesive story. The successful candidate will be an expert in facilitating data-driven insights to help our CPG clients maximize the success of their new products.
This is a US-based full-time exempt or part-time position and is 100% remote with flexible hours within project deadline requirements.
Develop experiment designs based on learning objectives and executional feasibility
Support the sales operations team in managing the execution of the in market experiments
Collect and investigate raw retailer sales or survey data and review for inconsistencies and errors
Analyze data using statistical tools and analytical methods including optimization and regression analyses.
Interpret data sets and identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to our client’s goals.
Generate dashboards / reports to summarize insights
Build creative and compelling data visualizations that can be used to bring insights to life in client presentations.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Accountable to the schedule of project delivery.
Work closely with our leadership team to develop scalable tools and efficient processes for identifying data insights for our clients.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field.
A Master’s degree or Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics is preferred.
3+ years of post-collegiate work experience in a quantitative/data analytics field
Must have an understanding of how consumer packaged goods brands leverage data to inform business decisions. Experience in the CPG industry, preferably in food, beverageand/or personal and home care categories is strongly preferred.
Syndicated data experience (IRI, Symphony ai and/lor Nielsen) a plus
Expert level mastery of Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to manage projects and work with cross-functional teams
Strong attention to detail with high value placed on accuracy
Intellectually curious, eager to problem solve, and a quick learner
Excellent communication skills with a pro-active and positive attitude
Must be flexible and able to adapt quickly to changes as projects evolve
