Senior Data Analyst, Operational Performance job description

As the Senior Analyst, Operational Performance on the Customer Success team, you will report to the Analytics Manager, Customer Success, and focus on the metrics and reporting tools used by operational teams at Remitly. You'll partner with operational leaders and program managers to drive alignment between operational measures and company strategy, define new metrics, create quantitative insights, prioritize investments, and improve the customer experience. Your work will span our global operations footprint, influencing the work of thousands of associates across multiple time zones.

You Will

  • Become an expert in our operational footprint and measurement, and share that expertise broadly
  • Independently work with partners in Operations and Program domains, providing analytical support and acting as a trusted partner
  • Effectively communicate metrics, commentary, and recommendations to multiple levels of stakeholders across our operational footprint
  • Ensure that operational metrics lead to desired outcomes, and diagnose unexpected outcomes
  • Simultaneously and independently manage multiple strategic initiatives while ensuring deadlines are met and the desired business impact is achieved
Senior Data Analyst, Operational Performance job requirements

You Have

  • Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
  • 8+ years of experience in data analytics space
  • 4+ years of experience driving operational analytics and developing at-scale solutions to drive desired associate behavior
  • Proven experience being data-driven strategic partner, engaging with global stakeholders, and ability to tie operational results to goals
  • Track record of mentorship and technical leadership
  • Experience building dashboards in Tableau or other relevant tools
  • Fluency in SQL, data modeling, and other data science techniques
  • Experience managing analytics projects from creation to delivery, including developing structured solutions and driving business outcomes

Job Description & Responsibilities
