Senior Data Analyst, Marketing job description

Quantum Metric is seeking a Sr. Marketing Data Analyst to partner cross-functionally to support decisions and reporting for marketing. As a domain expert in marketing analytics, in partnership with Quantum Metric Business Intelligence and marketing stakeholders, you will lead the marketing analytics beyond basic reporting to understand cause and effect, create predictive models, and reveal new insights for marketing campaigns and programs.

Reporting into the VP of Global Growth Marketing, this position will act as the go-to person for everything marketing performance. You should enjoy being the expert in your field and be keen to partner with stakeholders across the globe to measure marketing effectiveness and efficiency. You should enjoy sharing your passion for analytics with others and enabling teams to make data backed decisions.

🔧 Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain end to end reporting and analytics infrastructure for marketing at Quantum Metric
  • Partners with marketing stakeholders to develop dashboards and measurement of marketing campaigns and programs - enable the teams to be their own analyst
  • Partners with Business Intelligence team to expose insights and report out on marketing performance in relation to company performance and revenue
  • Analyze data related to lead and opportunity conversions, the accuracy of opportunity stages/probability, sales and marketing funnel velocity, and achievement against targets
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and data investigation/discovery to identify and/or explain business and marketing trends or anomalies
  • Monitor and measure website performance utilizing Quantum Metric
  • Business and operational insight to recognize patterns, connections, and relationships across variables and data sets
  • Experience implementing data stewardship, including master data management, data quality, and data dictionaries

💡 Requirements

  • 3+ years professional experience in data-intensive role for a B2B Saas company
  • R / Python programming, specifically with building pipelines, advanced analytics, & statistical modeling
  • Worked with SQL and other database languages
  • Experience with B2B reporting like funnel performance and Account-Based Marketing
  • Understanding of various pixel technologies and tag management software like Google Tag Manager
  • Experience with digital analytics tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Quantum Metric a plus
  • Worked with developing custom attribution models to determine ROI of marketing campaigns
  • Skilled with building insightful data visualization with tools like Tableau
  • Travel expected 1X per year
