Job Description & Responsibilities
Multiple Locations: Rochester, New York; Highland Hills, Ohio; Glenview, Illinois; Phoenix, Arizona; St Petersburg, Florida
Drives impactful innovation, using big data, analytics, and data science to ensure solutions align with business strategy of delivering a great customer experience and go to market strategy that is repeatable, sustainable, and scalable. Assesses alternatives and partners internally and externally to identify hypotheses, test, and implement strategic solutions across a multi-year horizon. Ensures marketing information is monitored, properly presented, and explained through reporting and analysis for effective decision making at all levels of management, including the Officer team and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Drives data insights and predictive analysis for difficult decisions to drive change in how we approach our customers. Monitors the integrity of reported statistics related to Marketing analytics to ensure data accuracy. Develops the creation of automated processes for collection of information.
- Constructs innovative strategic solutions that apply advanced analytics, data collection, and reporting to ensure that insights are converted to actionable intelligence for go to market strategies.
- Supports all Marketing Functions and implement the Marketing value proposition through data analytics that provides solutions for identifying opportunities, segmentation and targeting, and execution of go to market strategies.
- Cultivates client and business relationships with Sales, Finance and other organizations to identify, capture, and grow opportunities to help build reputation as a strategic, forward-thinking partner.
- Supports company projects related to the reporting, analytics as assigned, as well as ad hoc report requests from various members of the management team to increase the availability and quality of information needed to make business decisions.
- Performs all duties as a Marketing Data Analyst as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing or related field - Required
- Master's Degree - Preferred
- 5 years of experience in Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, Access and statistical tools. Strong business analysis, business intelligence (BI) or comparable analyst position handling large, complex data sets. Detail oriented and extremely organized, with proven ability to establish priorities and achieve results. Ability to effectively communicate to all levels (including Senior Management).

What we offer
Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $72,380.00 - $113,740.00 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
