Job Description & Responsibilities
The Senior Logistics Data Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Operations teams by providing essential data and reporting to enhance and streamline in-transit inventory flow. This role involves collaborating cross-functionally with Logistics Operations, DC Operations, logistics service providers, and 3PL partners to optimize service levels and efficiency from Distribution Centers to regional pool distribution sites. By leveraging data, the analyst proactively identifies and addresses bottlenecks in the transportation network, recommending and implementing effective service improvements. Additionally, the analyst delivers daily production reports to the Logistics Operations team and Supply Chain partners, ensuring seamless production support.
A Day In The Life:
Maintain in-transit database with up-to-date trailer status, location, and ETA data.
Provide reporting to support FIFO compliance, establish 3PL work content prioritization, and track & trace functions.
Write data extraction queries to feed operating dashboards and performance scorecards.
Analyze data trends and patterns to identify network bottlenecks, service risks, and flow opportunities.
Fulfill ad-hoc business analysis requests from logistics department leadership.
Partner with the EDI team to maintain service provider interfaces.
Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
You'll Come With:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a Supply Chain, Finance, or Business-related field and 3-5 years of experience in a Logistics or Transportation-related role preferred.
- 3-5+ years of experience in Logistics, Transportation, or a Supply Chain-related field.
- Familiarity with transportation procedures, concepts, and processes.
- Strong fluency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Power BI.
- Self-confidence in managing business issues in conflict and facilitating key stakeholders to achieve the best resolution for overall business.
- Demonstrated ability to focus, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines.

Salary:
$65,000.00 - $80,000.00
