Job Description & Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities
The Senior Data Analyst collects, verifies, and analyzes data from various sources to make suggestions for improvements and business decisions with the Logistics department. The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data relating to the warehouse and 3PLs within the North American network.
- Builds and optimizes interactive dashboards and visualizations to clearly communicate key metrics and data-driven insights to stakeholders
- Tells the story behind the numbers based on the data and trends over time
- Develops, maintains and analyzes databases to guide decision making
- Mashes up data from multiple different sources to create useable data for analytics
- Work directly with teams to gather requirements and provide status updates on projects
- Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex datasets
- Participate and drive project management of recommendations of analyses, when appropriate
- Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, and develop and maintain protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data
- Mashup and translate data into concise presentation formats to guide discussion and critical decision making for intended audience
- Identify process automation opportunities and partner with various teams to implement business transformation ideas
- Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree (Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Statistics, or similar field) – Required
- 5-7 Years of Experience (Data Analysis) – Required
- 5-7 Years of Experience (Dashboard and Metric Reporting) – Required
- 3-5 Years of Experience (Data Mining) – Preferred
- Experience with BI Tools (MS Power BI preferred)
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visual Basic)
- Programming experience using Python
- Advance knowledge of SQL
- Advance knowledge of SAP WM
- Ability to prioritize work with good time-management skills
- Analytical, problem-solving, and creative solution-building mindset
- Strategic thinker capable of interpreting complex data sets to produce actionable insights
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels and functions of the organization
- Knowledge of Logistics and best practices
- Project Management experience
- Travel Percentage – 10%
What we offer
Pay range: $73K - $97K
Annual Bonus: 5%
Your Pay & Benefits
The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.
