Job Description & Responsibilities
As the Senior Data Analyst, you will work at the direction of the Consumer Data Solutions Manager and POD Customer Experience Owner to collect, organize, and prepare data for use in an analytics and reporting environment, with a focus on data quality and accuracy, to achieve desired business and functional requirements.
The Senior Data Analyst Will Be Responsible For
- Apply appropriate techniques, e.g. exploratory data analysis, profiling, regression testing
- Develop and articulate recommendations based on rigorous data analysis.
- Work with other functional teams to access data elements, understand the data being analyzed, and identify anomalies when compared to data requirements and specifications
- Identify opportunities for process optimization
- Develop Use Cases and Oversee the Execution of Test Plans
- Participate in Meta-data Development by completing Data Requirements and Validate Data Lineage Documentation
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years of work experience in data modeling, analysis, and relevant business and data requirements
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to work with both business and technical partners
Technical Qualifications
- 2 – 4 years of writing SQL and working knowledge of relational data warehouse concepts
- Preferred: 2 – 4 years of SAS programming experience
- Preferred: 1 – 2 years working on AWS environment and toolset
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Operations Research, etc.
- Preferred: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics
Hours & Work Schedule
- Hours per Week: 40
- Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:30 – 5:00 EST
What we offer
The salary range for this position is $90,000- $135,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
