Senior Business (Data) Analyst, Rental Car
We’re a data-driven organization, which makes our Analytics and Data Science teams the brains of our operation. On the cutting edge of customer and business analytics, they make sure all our decisions and innovations are based on the latest insights.

As a Business Analyst, you will be our subject matter expert on Rental Car business metrics and trends, and will disseminate your findings across the organization. You will get to work with a modern analytics tool stack, truly big data, and a fast-moving industry of travel.
In This Role You Will Get To
- Hold primary ownership for monitoring business metrics and recommend actions based on key insights
- Work closely with the supply team to create supplier facing reports and generate supplier related insights
- Provide analytical support for initiatives across variety of teams such as Finance, Marketing, Product and Business Development
- Independently and in collaboration with others, execute end-to-end deep dives and exploratory analysis on business performance
- Partner with data engineers to develop modernized data solutions
- Partner with other business units and sister companies to make recommendations for new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve performance and measurement
Requirements
Who You Are
- 5+ years of analysis/consulting experience, travel or ecommerce/retail industry preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher from top university in a quantitative subject (e.g., science or math)
- Hands-on experience working with complex, large datasets. Hands-on experience with data technologies like Google Cloud, AWS is preferred.
- Experience working with advanced SQL queries is a must. Additional experience with Python or another scripting language is a plus.
- Advanced visualization skills in Tableau or similar visualization tools required.
- Demonstrate ability to extract value from data and connect insights to business outcomes
- Communicative, fun, highly competitive, independent person
What we offer
There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.
The salary range for this position is $120000-$140000
