Job Description & Responsibilities
The Senior Defined Benefit Data Analyst will support the business by working on highly complex Defined Benefit data consulting projects, demonstrating their analytical strengths and skills. We are looking for someone to join our great team of experts, who enjoy a fast-paced environment, and can provide quality work and an outstanding client/customer experience.
The analyst leverages various service category databases, data warehouses, and other technical applications (i.e. Informatica, Snap Logic, SQL, Access, Snowflake, Excel) to identify, analyze and propose solutions to clean the data required to provide accurate administration of Defined Benefits.

The Team
The Fidelity Workplace Consulting Group is composed of over 300 professionals who advise clients on the management of their domestic benefits. We are a fast-growing business within Fidelity, providing a broad range of services that touch on every area of benefits design, strategy, funding, communication, and delivery. While we focus on working with the Fortune 1000, we also work with Fidelity clients of all sizes.
Data Consulting engages in data quality improvement efforts that span single and multiple product lines (i.e. Health and Welfare, Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, Stock Plan Services and HR/Payroll) within the implementation and ongoing servicing client lifecycle.
Requirements
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
- 4+ Years of Defined Benefit/Pension Administration experience
- 2+ years writing SQL preferred
- Experience using Excel formulas for quick data analysis and data comparisons
- Ability to translate technical client specifications into data analysis deliverables
- Strong data analysis skills
- Experience querying large data sets with optimized SQL code
- Knowledge of Fidelity’s backend product tables (DBR1, WIDE, Snowflake, etc.) a plus
- Ability to prioritize fast paced work
- Experience in a consulting role a plus
- ETL Experience a plus

What we offer
The base salary range for this position is $63,000-$100,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
