Job Description & Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will perform tasks required to facilitate data management and data mining of key proprietary internal sales data. You will be responsible for accurate, timely management of data importing, data exporting, and reporting of data, as directed by senior management. In addition to using quantitative tools, you are also expected to apply advanced computer modelling as well as database tools to analyze data relevant to the business.

- Extract and analyze large datasets from various databases (e.g Microsoft Excel or SQL)
- Take the raw data and put it in spreadsheets to create easily understood, clearly formatted information
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports from the databases supplied to you
- Provide ad hoc reporting and metrics as deemed necessary by senior management
- Identify patterns and relationships in large data sets
- Apply mathematical and other data-driven analysis in
- Demonstrate the ability to train others and build procedures on new reporting or data mining
- Manipulate data from multiple sources and deliver reports to management that can be disseminated to regional field management
- Provide expert opinion related to the integration and processing of data
- Provide leadership to junior analyst
- Other duties, as assigned

Requirements
Job Knowledge/Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft suite of products, especially in Excel for data manipulation, using formulas, look ups, and pivot tables etc.
- Effective and creative problem solving skills, to assist in finding solutions to reporting issues
- Background in reporting or financial reporting is a plus
- Detailed oriented
- Ability to understand and work with large amounts of data
- Work independently as well as in a team environment with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must
- Must be able to communicate well with field sales and executive management.
- Must be a team player with a “can do” attitude
Education and Experience:
- 4+ years of experience with maintaining data and manipulating data including reporting on this data
- 3- 5 years of experience with Power BI
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Management or Data Analytics
- Prior experience in data analysis using database management tools is a major plus
What we offer
The base salary range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $80,000 and $100,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions and discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
