Senior Data Analyst, AI Products job description

We are looking to hire a Senior Data Analyst to join our AI Product division. Formed last year, we are charged with building AI-powered solutions that will change how our teammates operate and how our brands go to market. We’re developing applications that will impact how we produce media, personalize our site experience, converse with our customers, and add intelligence into our digital buy-flows. Our team is responsible for both building the underlying technology and applying these applications to business opportunities. We’re a growing team made up of a mix of data scientists, machine learning engineers, analytics engineers, software engineers, product managers and analysts.

You will be responsible for maximizing the value of our product suite by driving adoption with our brands and partners. Our delivery team operates in two ways. (1) We collaborate with brands to build new, customized consumer-facing applications that are powered by our AI/ML product suite. (2) We take over portions of the current consumer flow and apply the AI/ML suite to optimize core business metrics. You will work directly with our own designers and developers to do implementation while working with our product teams to identify core features and functionality that should be added to the underlying suite of tools. You will have the opportunity to customize solutions for business specific use cases as you see fit.

This role will have a high level of visibility across the industry group. You will be the point-person for a key capability with multiple senior stakeholders while working directly with end-users as you build business and customer value. Your contribution to the organization will be multifaceted – we are looking for someone who has a strong data foundation, can effectively collaborate with their development team, and can influence business decisions using their expertise and communication skills.

We believe that diverse, inclusive teams are better teams. Think of the bullets below as guidelines: if you only partially meet the qualifications on this posting, we encourage you to apply anyway!

This position can be based in our Charlotte, NC or New York City office on a hybrid schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Own product integration and value creation of our AI/ML products across our brands and partners. This represents ideation, opportunity scoping, roadmap building, implementation, optimization, and communication.
  • Build and launch custom data components for brand-specific needs – this may come in the form of visualizations, notebooks, and/or algorithms
  • Pitch and present to senior leaders and stakeholders (technical and non-technical) to drive adoption and understanding of offerings and capabilities.
  • Increase product stickiness through hands-on analysis, stakeholder training, and case study development to ensure value occurs and is recognized
  • Be involved in initial product roadmapping and/or feature prioritization to provide perspective and expertise on sophisticated ways to leverage our data
  • Mentor Jr. analysts on the team in both technical and consultative skillsets
  • Find new opportunities and usages of data within our product ecosystem
