Job Description & Responsibilities
Dutchie’s Data Analysts are strong strategic partners and skilled technicians. They are excellent communicators, possess strong business acumen, and are obsessed with delivering insights that drive action. They follow through on their work to ensure its usefulness to the organization, and constantly seek out feedback to make their next projects better than the last. They partner closely with technical and business teams alike and juggle multiple, complex projects at once.
Analytics at Dutchie is centralized and segmented into 4 sub-functions — Go-to-Market, Product, CS, and Adtech support. Each analytics sub-function aligns to key business functions and is staffed with domain experts.
Dutchie creates products specifically tailored to the nascent cannabis industry, targeted to create safe and easy access to cannabis. Dutchie’s products create value directly to both consumers and our business customers, and the ecosystem of Dutchie’s products is lifting the entire market. In order to constantly improve our product offering, Dutchie needs insight about its products — how they’re developed, tested, used by end customers, and how they can be improved. We need to understand how individual features help us accomplish our OKRs. We need to understand, through experimentation, what to push to production and what to rework. With this focus, the Senior Data Analyst will propel the product organization, and dutchie, forward.
What You'll Do...
- Execute industry-leading approaches to measuring digital products and delivering key insights to Dutchie’s Product and Ad-Tech organizations
- Partner with domain experts in Product and ad tech to solve problems, together
- Implement instrumentation and experimentation methods to gather insights used to optimize experiences
- Create leading-edge analytics and insights leveraging SQL
- Create reports and dashboards that surface actionable insights for stakeholders and empower self-service
- Collaborate with fellow analytics team members who specialize in other domain areas
- Work closely with Analytic team members and Data Engineering functions to ensure data cleanliness and availability
- Build networks through Product and adtech orgs and beyond to ensure deep connections and efficiencies through the team
Requirements
What You Bring...
- 4+ years’ experience in the analytics space with a proximity to stakeholders
- 2+ years’ experience delivering insights and analytics tailored for product teams
- Experience writing complex, performant, and ultimately meaningful SQL queries
- A passion for creating meaningful, targeted, and scalable data visualizations in Tableau, Looker, Google Data Studio, or others
What we offer
You’ll Get…
We are targeting a starting salary of $140,000 - $160,000 based on the intended level for this role. There may be flexibility on individual compensation packages based candidate skill set, experience, qualifications and other position-related factors.
