Job Description & Responsibilities
As our Sr. Data Analyst, you will be helping sites monitor the performance of the assets and provide the data to assist conversations with the OEMs by running models and analyzing efficiency. Every day you will receive consolidated data from other Data Analysts and complete a deeper analysis that is specific to the performance of assets, detect anomalies, and develop scripts and models.
Reporting to the Performance Monitoring & Analytics Director, this position will work in a hybrid work schedule and be responsible for commuting to the nearby ENGIE corporate office therefore the candidate must live either in Houston, TX; Chicago, IL; Denver, CO or Oakland, CA.

What you’ll do:
- Assist with maintaining data pipelines by collecting, cleaning, and standardizing, and analyzing data from various internal and external sources
- Use strong communication skills to translate data analysis findings into coherent written and verbal conclusions
- Develop and maintain products that deliver data visualizations/reports to enable users to grasp concepts, identify patterns, and make better business decisions
- Hands-on tool development and analytics
- Develop or improve routines that can improve business or analytic processes
- Utilize parallelized programming (Databricks etc.) for batch processing across large datasets
- Improve and recommend data collection, cleaning, and quality control specifications and data sampling techniques
- Apply missing data treatments as needed
- Work with other data scientists and analysts to develop best practices for analytics teams
- Carries out other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you bring:
- Minimum master’s degree in which you have gain knowledge and understanding in data mining, consolidating data in an Excel spreadsheet, analyzing data and preparing reports
- Minimum 5 years completed data consolidation and running models
- You are confident in developing data visualization/ reports.
- Must have coursework or work experience using VBA/SQL/Python or other data mining software
- Must have coursework or work experience using Power BI or other dashboards
- Some travel may be needed travel to visit sites for further investigation and data

What we offer
Salary Range: $81,500.00 – $125,005.00 USD, annually
Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors
In addition to salary, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan
