Job Description & Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst with a passion for growing business and user metrics with a demonstrated ability to work across data documentation, project management, testing, ETL, cleansing/aggregation, and visualization.
You will work on our customer accounts ecosystem, analyzing registration, login, engagement, and cross-product use. This data will be used to increase the way we understand our players across our physical and digital games and what features they value which we should investigate further. The information this role provides feeds directly into executive business metrics while enabling our product and business partners to develop great products and services quickly by using your data.
This position will partner with the Senior Manager of Digital Product, a Sr. Data Product Owner, and a Senior User Experience Design. This team will develop and foster our build-measure-learn operational muscle memory vertical-wide.
What You’ll Do:
- Dive into our common Account Registration, Authentication, Social, and Entitlements services to author payload documentation and increase our ability for more efficient analysis.
- Establish relationships with our business partner analysts to provide aggregated and/or cleansed tables to join their work to.
- Work with engineers to ensure the data being sent can accurately answer the questions asked while answering questions and being responsible for the timeline.
- Partner with our QA and SDET team members to validate that our data pipelines continually deliver value while our business changes.
Requirements
What You'll Bring:
- Curiosity and drive to ask questions up-front as to how the analysis will be valuable.
- 5+ years of work experience in data analytics. Preferred experience in console, PC/Mac, and/or mobile games. Preferably leading the analysis of a feature or business metric for a live game, service, or product.
- Show skill through an interview project (using SQL to gather data and provide actionable analytical insights on a sample of data with intuitive visualizations).
- Validated work history with examples of effective teamwork, analytical research, communication, and presentation/writing skills.
- Experience with a variety of BI and reporting tools (Excel, Tableau, Snowflake).
