Job Description & Responsibilities
What You Can Expect
As the Senior Data Instrumentation, Measurement and Standards, Performance Analytics you will specialize in the design, development, and optimization of wind energy systems. Every day in this role you will ensure high availability and high-quality data collection from wind meteorological towers, Lidars, and Pyranometers and work with on-site personnel to perform regular testing, calibration, maintenance, and repair of the instrumentation, and ensure compliance with the relevant codes and regulations.
- Drive development of advanced automated data monitoring solutions, and drive key research & development (R&D) initiatives
- Provide instrument recommendations for data collection to quantify losses
- Improve and recommend data collection, cleaning, and quality control specifications and data sampling techniques
- Work with other data scientists and analysts to develop best practices for analytics teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or problems related to the instrumentation and control systems, and provide technical support and guidance to the field staff
- Prepare and update the drawings, diagrams, manuals, and records of the instrumentation and control systems, and ensure proper documentation and archiving
- Conduct research and analysis on the latest technologies and trends in the field of instrumentation and control and recommend improvements and upgrades to the systems
- Coordinate, collaborate, and communicate with cross functional teams engineering, technicians, operators, solar, and wind resource assessment, and contractors on the instrumentation and control systems, and ensure effective teamwork and collaboration
Requirements
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in instrumentation engineering, electrical engineering, or related field of study in which you have learned instrumentation and control systems
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in instrumentation and control systems in the oil and gas, renewable energy industry, or similar industrial environment
- Strong knowledge and skills in instrumentation and control systems design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, including PLCs, SCADA, and sensors with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with the relevant codes and standards, such as ISA, IEC, ANSI, NFPA
- Proficiency in using various software and tools, such as AutoCAD, MS Office
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Proficiency in multitasking with meticulous attention to detail, even under pressure and tight deadlines with
- Ability for 70% travel to work in remote site locations in the first year but will taper back to 50%, as required

- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
- This role requires attendance at worksites on an as needed basis
- Must be available to travel within the US and Canada with the need for some overnight trips
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record; for the use of fleet cars, personal and or hire cars when traveling, to drive to site locations and meetings
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
- This position consist of indoor and outdoor work, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions
Compensation
Salary Range: $84,000– $128,800 USD annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
