While our core work includes media reporting, we also include business and brand intelligence reporting. Our goal is to deliver data-driven findings as a force in rebuilding trust between our core institutions and the people that they serve.

Reporting to SVP of Data Innovations, PlowShare’s Media Data Analyst will be responsible for the ongoing updating of various reports, while assisting in measurement planning, data strategy and insight creation. At Plowshare, transparency is key to our success and in this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your data and analytics experience to develop automated live dashboards and influence media planning and operations for clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze media data from various sources, including social media, traditional media, and digital platforms.
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the development and implementation of media strategies based on data insights.
  • Collaborate with the media team to optimize media campaigns and measure their effectiveness.
  • Utilize media analytics tools and software to extract meaningful data and insights.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving media analysis processes.
Media Data Analyst job requirements

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data visualization techniques.
  • Proficiency in Lookr Studio, Tableau, PowerBi or similar data visualization tools.
  • Basic understanding of media metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with media monitoring and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, social media analytics platforms) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior internship or work experience in media analysis, market research, or a related area.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing principles and practices.
  • Understanding of social media platforms and their analytics.
  • Experience with Google Ads, Campaign Manager 360, and other Google Marketing Platform tools.

Compensation Range: $52,500 - $69,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.
