The Role

As a key member of our team, you will be supporting the Accelerated Growth Team (AGT) by proactively owning and managing the Salesforce and Power BI dashboard and report development process. You will provide governance and maintain all existing and future Salesforce and Power BI development, ensuring that reports are validated and aesthetically clean in design. You will become an expert in our datasets across our systems and liaise with AGT business departments to develop requirements for Salesforce and Power BI dashboards and reports. Additionally, you will develop testing plans, prepare documentation of process procedures, assist with change management, and efficiently manage all Power BI development projects and timelines.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Proactively own and manage the Salesforce Dashboarding and Reporting development process from intake to completion
  • Provide Governance (and guardrails) and maintain all existing and future Salesforce and Power BI reporting
  • Make sure reports are validated and aesthetically clean in design
  • Understand the AGT datasets and become an expert of our AGT datasets across our systems
  • Liaise with AGT business departments who are requesting Salesforce and Power BI reports to develop business requirements and technical requirements
  • Develop testing plans to ensure testing performed prior to business handoff and final user acceptance testing is signed off on
  • Prepare documentation of process procedures and liaise between the AGT business users
  • Assist with change management, communication and ongoing training to AGT business users
  • Efficiently manage all Power BI development projects and timelines, including tracking meeting minutes, next steps, open items and addressing risk/concerns

What We Look For In a Candidate

  • 6+ years of related work experience with a Bachelors or 4+ years of related work experience with a Masters or equivalent work experience
  • Expert in Salesforce Dashboard and Report building in both traditional Salesforce CRM and Salesforce CRMA
  • Knowledgeable in Salesforce development processes
  • Advanced knowledge in Power BI including DAX, Power Query, dataset access, dataflow creation and row level security (RLS)
  • Strong Data Modeling skills
  • Experience working with finance data sets and knowledge of common financial data modeling an advantage
  • Exposure to other BI tools an advantage (Tableau, Qlik, Domo etc.)
  • Strong Data Management experience, in particular understanding the role of data quality
  • End to end knowledge of data warehouse and reporting processes
  • Demonstrate high degree of critical and strategic thinking
  • Ability to work through complex issues and challenges and present business stakeholders with clear options for remediation
  • Ability to learn quickly and take initiative to learn independently
  • Ability to work within a team as well as perform tasks independently
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage competing and multiple priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly in data storytelling
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$87,166 - $100,571 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.

$91,641 - $105,558 in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.

$94,922 - $109,673 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.

$98,945 - $114,302 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
