Job Description & Responsibilities
At Claroty, The Data department is a pivotal point in the company and a major part of its growth drivers. We pride ourselves on creating an intelligent, data-driven product based on research and constant feedback. Our data analysis team serves as the Go-To Team for all Customer data needs. This involves our device identification process, leading proof-of-value projects across different territories (US / EMEA / APAC), Threat Intel Research, and developing market-leading expertise in XIoT security.
We are now starting to build our data team in the US, oriented towards supporting our US public sector customers. We’re looking for an experienced individual to join us and build the team from the ground up, utilizing the knowledge and expertise gained over the last 7 years and applying it to a whole new vertical. A passion for data and a drive to learn new things is needed, as well as the desire to build and lead an independent team.
Responsibilities:
- Building and leading a small team in charge of end-to-end cyber security research activities for Claroty’s US public sector solutions. Research areas include:
- Investigating new protocols used by IoT, OT, or IoMT technologies
- Investigating the detection of false positives and recommending changes to the detection
- Investigating asset classification issues in customer environments and resolving them with updated logic
- Technical resource to support Sales lead Proof of Concepts
- Creation of customer-facing dashboards and reports
- Collection and enrichment of data and knowledge through external sources
- Collaboration with Customers, and internal teams, to drive sales and customer success
- Work with the Product team surrounding our always-evolving visibility capabilities
Requirements
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience investigating networks to identify network anomalies, threats, or other network events
- 2+ years of proven Team Management experience
- Extensive understanding of network security, networking concepts, and communication protocols
- Experience in review and analysis of raw network traffic
- Familiarity with network protocols seen in either biomedical, OT/ICS, or corporate IT settings
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL database technologies
- Experience with Python (2+ Years - advantage)
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Strong organizational skills. Must be able to manage priorities for both team and stakeholders
- Willingness and ability to meet challenges head-on, solve problems independently, and make things happen
- Open-minded, flexible, and thrive in a highly dynamic, fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Willingness to travel to Israel 15% of the time
- US Citizen only with the potential to be submitted for Security Clearance in the future.
What we offer
Expected base salary of $215,000 - $250,000. This is a good-faith estimate but does not include equity. Pay will be by experience level, but those outside of the salary band are welcome to apply.
