Job Description & Responsibilities
Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Systems Data Analyst, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Systems Data Analyst is responsible for building and maintaining data models, reporting systems, data automation, and visualization tools that support key business decisions. They ensure the quality and accuracy of solutions and follow data governance and prioritization processes. The role supports finance team members in developing skills for digital transformation, prioritizes work assignments, and partners with other finance members to improve analysis of financial results. The Analyst removes obstacles to success, supports business analysis activities, and participates in global projects. The ideal candidate has technical aptitude, analytical abilities, and collaboration skills.
What You Will Be Doing
- Builds and maintains data models, reporting systems, data automation and visualization tools that support key business decisions
- Ensures quality and accuracy of solutions and follows data governance and prioritization processes
- Supports Woodward finance members in developing the skills needed for digital transformation including mentoring on new systems or processes, presenting live global trainings and documentation, as well as contributing to change management efforts
- Effectively organizes and prioritizes work assignments with manager as well as documents project requirements
- Follow departmental standards to ensure quality, organizational expectations, and audit requirements
- Serves as an integral partner to other finance members as well as cross-functional peers in the organization
- Actively removes obstacles to success including appropriate escalation and proposal of risk mitigation strategies
- Partners with other finance members to improve analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial results compared against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods
Requirements
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) required
- Experience with the following types of systems: ERP, data warehousing, reporting, visualization, workflow and/or robotics process automation-required
- Accounting and financial experience that includes progressively more complex assignments or projects preferred

- Estimated annual base pay: $57,100-$71,400 (midpoint)- $85,700
- All members included in cash bonus opportunity
