Job Description & Responsibilities
We are looking for a Sustainability Data Analyst for JBS that reports onsite to our corporate office in Greeley, Colorado.
The position will coordinate and manage multiple sources of sustainability data for JBS global operations through Excel datasheets, automated reporting platforms (such as Envizi and Credit360), and other data sources. Such data is integral to the internal and external reports that are generated to communicate JBS’s sustainability efforts.
The position will also serve an important role in the analysis and interpretation of the data to inform management decisions and public reporting. Optimization of the data collection methods, the accuracy of the data, and the analytical reporting of it will be an ongoing task. The position will be recognized as one of the main aggregators and analyzers of sustainability data, thus routine interfacing with numerous positions throughout the company will be required.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the accurate compilation and dissemination of routine sustainability data.
- Manage the accurate compilation and dissemination of Net Zero 2040 projects and initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to facilitate the collection, consistency, and inputting of data by the JBS sustainability teams.
- Create or otherwise obtain improved reporting methods.
- Prepare internal and external reports to evidence and/or communicate the sustainability efforts of JBS.
- Participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders regarding environmental and sustainability initiatives of JBS.
- Assist in other departmental objectives including such things as preparation of power point presentations, setting environmental and sustainability goals, community outreach efforts, and various other tasks.
- Limited, but some non-routine travel is expected.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Advanced experience with Excel spreadsheets, Power Point, and data collection platforms
- Ideal candidate will have an understanding of sustainable practices in industrial and agricultural settings as they relate to sustainability management, wastewater management, energy usage, transportation, packaging, and carbon and greenhouse gas emissions and reporting requirements
- Analytical minded with effective oral and written communication skills
- Project management, collaboration skills
- Desire to work with data and relate/communicate with all roles in the company
- Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.
What we offer
The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
- Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
- Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
- 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
- Base salary range of $55,000-$70,000; and
- Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
