Job Description & Responsibilities
KLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA). The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology. We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market. The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.
Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Analyst who is interested in joining our extraordinary Strategic Supplier Management (SSM) team based in Ann Arbor, MI.
As a key member of the KLA SSM team, you will support the team to ensure our supply base is prepared to support our quickly growing forecast.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a global supplier forecast using inputs from master scheduling and service.
- Communicate forecast to management, supplier managers and suppliers as needed
- Use statistical concepts and theories to analyze and collect data and construct solutions to business problems. Performs sophisticated statistical analysis on business data to validate and quantify trends or patterns identified by business analysts. Constructs predictive models to support data analysis or product functions.
- Develop a global tracking system of supplier readiness to ramp to include targets, gaps to target, remedy, investment required, lead times, and action item status
- Develop executive ready PowerPoint presentations
- Coordinate process that analyzes supplier financials. Proactively communicate any critical results to strategic supply chain team.
- Supervise external market intelligence platforms. Analyze changing market conditions that may impact our suppliers and category strategies.
- Supervise & analyze cost drivers within the global supply base.
- Drive assigned projects that are crafted to improve systems within global operations.
Requirements
Skills Required
- Supply chain background. Solid understanding in the areas of spend/cost analysis, demand forecasting, supplier capacity & lead time, overall sourcing process.
- Data analytics & management. Solid understanding in the areas of data structure, data mining & data maintenance.
- Project management. Define problem and drive key customers to a detailed solution.
- Solid understanding of the SAP, Microsoft excel & Power BI is required. Python & SQL experience is a plus.
- Ability to process data, synthesize and extract relevant information.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills as this position involves direct contact with key SSM team, business owners, customers, and suppliers.
- A desire to work in a collaborative and global team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to adapt to evolving business and legal environments.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and work experience of 8 years' OR Masters Degree and 6 years' of working experience.
- 6+ years of experience in a corporate environment with a focus on Supply Chain
