Data Analyst, Sales job description

The Sales Data Analyst, Corporate Accounts is responsible for supporting all aspects and operations of Group Purchasing Organization (GPO), Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) contracts. The position works in close contact with the Corporate Accounts Managers to prepare and execute agreements and all the necessary analysis to support these needs. The position prepares and provides standard reports such as GPO sales, pricing/margin analysis, Request for Proposal (RFP) submission data, and ad-hoc reporting requirements for the Corporate Accounts team. The position requires experience in sales reporting, strategic pricing and margin analysis, and should have the ability to develop strong relationships with both internal and external customers.

Job Functions

  • Collaborate with Corporate Accounts Managers to create IDN contract documents and work with RFP team to respond to RFPs and create GPO documents.
  • Facilitate contract process with Contract Managers.
  • Regular communication with GPO/IDN Managers to review open items and top priorities.
  • Manage Field Sales inquiries regarding GPO/IDN affiliation, GPO/IDN pricing, and quote validation.
  • Respond in a timely, accurate manner to incoming tickets through our Freshdesk system and GPO Support mailboxes.
  • Work collaboratively with the Customer service groups on price loads and discrepancy resolution.
  • Manage relationships with contracted vendors: this includes quote validation, price validation.
  • Partner with the Membership Analyst to validate and process Letters of Commitment (LOCs) from IDN/GPOs, and re-assess on an annual basis if tier qualifications are being met.
  • Work closely with Corporate Accounts, IT and Systems Specialists to understand business needs, to identify, develop and implement enhancements for reporting and analytical deliverables.

Experience And Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of related experience in a sales support or finance position, which includes direct data analysis experience.
  • Experience in data analysis and/or reporting in the Medical Device or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience with sales-related software applications such as SAP, Cognos, PowerBI.
  • Able to synthesize various, independently generated, data points into cohesive reports.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • An independent worker who is detail oriented, accurate and able to achieve deadlines.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Access, Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to handle and manage entry level special projects and audits, must be able to present findings to the team.
What we offer at Getinge

The base salary for the position is a minimum of $74,000 and a maximum of $105,000 plus an annual bonus of 8%
