Job Description & Responsibilities
TE Connectivity's Trade Compliance Teams interpret laws, rules, and regulations regarding shipping and prepare applications for import/export control certifications and licenses.
Our objective is to build a world-class Global Trade Services organization. Global Trade Services Monitoring & Corrective Actions Analyst will assist in overseeing TE’s Global Trade Services program for overall compliance and improvement. The position will have primary responsibility for supporting the Trade Risk Manager in monitoring, controlling, and assessing the efficacy of the TE trade program; coordinating internal & external audits of the TE trade program; and ensuring corrective and preventative actions are identified, vetted, and tracked to completion.
Responsibilities
- Manage an incident, investigation & disclosure process that documents and tracks issues and concerns.
- Manage the trade assessment roadmap, and report on critical deliverables and milestones.
- Collaborate across the trade team and with essential enterprise functions to ensure an aligned, adequately prioritized, and holistic approach to identified gaps in compliance.
- Assist with maintaining the Risk Register.
- Test Key Performance Indicators (KPI)/Key Compliance Controls (KCC) according to the testing schedule and report results.
- Assist with developing trade Metrics / KPI program to track efficiencies and practices to ensure the attainment of business and group goals in collaboration with the trade team, essential enterprise functions, and corporate continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform impact analysis on regulatory changes and compliance enhancement activities.
- Maintain a streamlined monitoring, assessment & corrective actions program.
Requirements
What your background should look like:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- 3+ years of relevant work experience, including a combination of export/import control and data analysis
- Expert in Microsoft Office tools
- Experience with Power BI and Excel
- Comfortable manipulating large data sets and generating reports
- Knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and non-U.S. export (e.g., BAFA, UK BIS, etc.) regulations is a plus
- Experience working with geographically diverse teams
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to interact and collaborate with company personnel and external advisors
- Desire and track record of identifying problems, then planning and executing to solve them
- Demonstrated ability to utilize research and information to make data-driven decisions

What we offer
Compensation
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $76,700 - $116,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
- Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
