Data Analyst, Research job description

Remote (in the US) opportunity but must work PST hours

We are reimagining the way the world experiences healthcare and our Research Associate will collaborate within Clinical Excellence and beyond to ensure alignment of the Mission, strategic priorities, and industry best practices for our growing portfolio of research and training programs. As the Catalight Research Institute’s Research and Data Analyst you will be an integral member in our larger Clinical Excellence (CE) team that promotes a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality. We are looking for an adaptive team member who will support inclusive and equity-informed strategies and programs that can adapt and scale to support the multi-faceted needs of our clients, families, and customers in support of our dynamic portfolio. The ideal candidate is bold in their approach, is solution oriented, welcomes ever changing environments, and approaches work with a growth mindset. Core Responsibilities & Essential Job Functions

  • Inform and contribute to a collaborative yet transformative approach to the Clinical Excellence operations that reflects our mission, values, and provide exceptional learning experience.
  • Lead data analysis, collection, and monitoring within the research institute across programs, outcomes, and studies.
  • Design, implement, and create sustainable data systems that provide meaningful metrics to measure and continually improve CE and its performance.
  • Meet and exceed identified goals and metrics by innovating, taking risks, critically thinking, and establishing credibility as an advisor across the family of companies and beyond.
  • Successfully build, support, and collaborate within a high performing team in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growing work environment.
  • Write literature reviews at APA 7 standards covering assigned topics.
  • Contribute to manuscripts for publication as assigned.
  • In collaboration with the team, map out studies for the upcoming calendar year.
  • Contribute to manual writing for programs and training content.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
  • Responsible for creating summary reports of data collection activities.
  • Oversee and manage project schedules for conference and manuscript submissions.
  • Oversee and manage participant workflow including informed consent, follow up, and data monitoring.
  • Oversee coordination of staff to ensure timelines for conference submissions and manuscript submissions are kept.
  • Establish strong and collaborative partnerships within Clinical Excellence, its’ community, as well as throughout the FoC.
  • Manage and perform special projects and duties as assigned.
  • Travel to conferences to assist with conference booths and conference presentations as needed (est. 6 -8 times/yr.)

Qualifications

Minimum Education, Experience & Training Equivalent to:

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field.
  • Fluent in American Psychology Association Publication Manual, 7th Edition publication guidelines.
  • Proficient in basic statistical methods (e.g., descriptive statistics, inferential statistics).
  • Master’s degree in psychology or related field preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Sensitivity to working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse population.
  • A commitment to the values of the organization while demonstrating good judgment, flexibility, patience and discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive matters.
  • Familiarity with SPSS statistical software.
  • Excellence with project management.
  • Experience working and communicating with families.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Capacity to hold space for others to engage in learning within psychologically safe spaces allowing for courage and vulnerability.
  • Work in an exciting, fast paced high energy environment while effectively multitasking and managing day-to-day responsibilities without supervision.
  • Personable; able to work comfortably with individuals at all levels within the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills; frequent proofreading and checking documents for accuracy.
  • Must be highly detail oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Challenges the status quo in service of creating inclusive and dynamic systems, content, and processes.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to communicate effectively within the work environment, read and write using the primary language with the workplace.
  • Visual and auditory ability to work with clients, staff, and others in the workplace continuously.
  • Frequent speaking and listening (25-75%) to clients, staff, and others in the workplace.
  • Utilize computer and cell phone for effective communication.
  • Ability to utilize virtual meetings software (Zoom, Teams, etc.).

Conditions of Employment

  • Ability to obtain and maintain criminal record clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ). The People & Performance Department must analyze DOJ/FBI live scan reports in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, as well as fitness for the position.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain clearance through the Office of Inspector General.
  • Must attend any required training.
