Job Description & Responsibilities
Conduent Healthy Communities Institute (HCI) is seeking a full-time, remote Public Health Data Analyst to support the Public Health Consulting Team. In this role, you will assist with data collection, analysis, and project coordination to help healthcare providers, health departments, and health collaboratives across the country improve community health. This position combines data analysis skills with a strategic focus on health equity, social determinants of health, and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Projects:
- Assist in conducting Community Health Needs Assessments (CHNA) and develop Community Health Improvement Plans by gathering and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data.
- Collaborate with clients to answer data-related questions, ensuring the successful execution of products and services.
- Support key informant interviews, focus groups, and stakeholder meetings to gather primary data.
- Assist in developing action plans based on community health data and stakeholder input.
Data Analysis and Content Development:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret community health and patient data (both quantitative and qualitative) to identify trends and inform public health strategies.
- Develop reports, summarize findings, and create compelling data visualizations to communicate insights to clients with varying levels of public health knowledge.
- Contribute to the design and development of tools for data collection and analysis.
- Support content development for client deliverables, including guides, visual aids, and analytical tools.
Cross-Functional Projects:
- Collaborate across departments and lines of business to integrate data and insights from various sources.
- Act as a community health data expert in external engagements.
- Participate in internal process improvements, innovations, and solutions development.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or a related field (or comparable experience).
- Experience with data analysis, public health data sources, and community health needs assessments.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data visualization software like ArcGIS or similar tools.
- Basic experience with SAS, R, or other statistical software is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ability to synthesize data into clear, actionable insights and create data-driven narratives.
- Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative data collection methods, such as focus groups, interviews, and surveys.
- Knowledge of social determinants of health, health equity, and public health improvement practices.
- Strong analytical, presentation, and organizational skills.

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $70,000 to $80,000.
