Data Analyst, Project & Service job description

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Project and Service Data Analyst to join our team. As an integral part of our Projects and Service departments, you will play a key role in providing insights, data analysis, and support to enhance our project and service areas. Your focus will be on leveraging Salesforce to build customized reports and dashboards, ensuring data integrity, and contributing to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations. You must be able to work cross functionally across the organization and have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the data needs of project and service areas and translate those needs into actionable reports and dashboards within the Salesforce platform.
  • Utilize your data analysis skills to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets, helping teams make informed decisions and improve overall operational performance.
  • Design, develop, and maintain customized reports and dashboards in Salesforce, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics relevant to project and service areas.
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations Salesforce Administrator to support data integrity projects, identifying and addressing data inconsistencies, inaccuracies, and gaps.
  • Play a pivotal role in creating and refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that streamline operational processes and ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Assist in the identification of trends, patterns, and opportunities through data analysis, contributing to process improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear and concise presentations and reports.
  • Stay current with best practices in data analysis and reporting, and continuously seek opportunities to enhance and optimize processes.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment by sharing knowledge, insights, and best practices with colleagues.
Data Analyst, Project & Service job requirements

Your Experience And Capabilities

  • 3-5 years of experience as an analyst, with a focus on data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce reporting and dashboard creation, with a track record of designing impactful visualizations.
  • Experience in data analysis, including data extraction, transformation, and interpretation.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables.
  • Power BI experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with data integrity concepts and experience in supporting data quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) development is a plus.
