Job Description & Responsibilities
As Ortho continues to grow, we are seeking a Customer Data Analyst I - Pricing to join our Contract Management team. This role can be based in Rochester, NY or Raritan, NJ and will support price maintenance, approvals and system update requirements in SAP. This includes, but is not limited to, effective annual price increases, new product launch, GPO and IDN contract maintenance and contract updates via mass update process. The Customer Data Analyst is a critical lead to supporting internal and external audits, acting as SME to current and new processes as aligned to the price maintenance application cycle.
The Responsibilities
- Ownership of pricing data within SAP including validating for accuracy for reporting and troubleshooting within SAP as required
- Completes pricing requests utilizing established controls and communications
- Implement agreements in Ortho’s contracting system using contract mass update functionality which requires comprehensive contract review and validation. Coordinate administrative logistics with necessary parties when required (contracting, distribution, service coverage, etc.)
- Review, creation and updating of SOP’s/WKI’s as required and facilitate process improvement activities
- Responsible for creating and managing reports from SAP for cross-functional business requests and ad-hoc reporting needs
- Participate on cross functional teams to support and sometimes lead Global / US projects
- Corporate Audit support of Revenue Narrative (PWC/SOX)
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of pricing and contracting systems and how they interface with other systems throughout the company where related to price maintenance and reporting
- Travel: Up to 10% domestically
Requirements
Required
- Education: Bachelors Degree in business-related field or equivalent experience
- Experience: Minimum 3 years business experience
- Demonstrated leadership to define and to accomplish common goals, strong project management and high attention to detail to meet timelines and milestones of project work
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to achieve objectives in challenging and complex situations throughout multiple levels within the organization
- Travel: Up to 10% domestically
Preferred
- Education: Advanced Degree
- Experience in Sales Operations, Contracting, or Data Analysis
- Advanced expertise with Microsoft Excel and SAP
What we offer
The salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. At QuidelOrtho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on that facts and circumstances of each case. The salary range for this position is $45,000 to $81,000 and is eligible for incentive compensation. QuidelOrtho offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan, employee assistance program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off (including sick time) and paid Holidays. All benefits are non-contractual, and QuidelOrtho may amend, terminate, or enhance the benefits provided, as it deems appropriate.
