The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented data analyst to join our world class data team, focusing on marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone passionate about data analytics and eager to contribute to the success of marketing strategies in a dynamic environment at Resy. This role will report to our Sr. Manager of Data and Analytics and will be part of a tight-knit and supportive team of data experts who together power Resy’s internal reporting for strategic business decision-making and develop external analytics products for Resy’s restaurant operator clients.

As a data analyst driven by marketing initiatives, you will play a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data to support our marketing efforts and drive business growth. You will assist in developing frameworks for scalable post-launch impact analysis and ongoing campaign monitoring, implement and assist with segmentation and analysis around our marketing strategies for Restaurants, Users and Card Members. You will also enhance the impact of marketing and public relations efforts through data storytelling, and offer self-serve options for increased efficiency.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Collect, clean, and preprocess marketing data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and customer segments with high conversion potential.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key marketing key performance indicators, monitor campaign performance, and provide real-time insights.
  • Be a subject matter expert of reporting tools used by the Resy marketing department.
  • Connect the dots to understand customer intent using data from multiple sources like data warehouses, customer data platforms, marketing analytics tools, and product analytics tools.
  • Collaborate with marketing, data, and product teams to forecast campaign performance.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to nontechnical stakeholders across various management levels.
  • Continuously optimize reporting for all marketing channels.
  • Be an integral part of a growing team that develops innovative data solutions for marketing at Resy.
Data Analyst, Marketing job requirements

WHAT YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. Prior experience as a data or marketing analyst preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Adobe Analytics, Mixpanel). Experience with marketing analytics tooling preferred.
  • Familiarity with funnel analysis and customer journey mapping.
  • Understanding of various digital marketing channels.
  • Experience with different segmentation techniques and an understanding of customer lifecycle stages.
  • Knowledge of different attribution models and an understanding of how to apply attribution models to measure marketing effectiveness.
  • Basic understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to convey data insights effectively.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous internship or project experience in data analysis or marketing analytics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Passion about fostering a data-driven culture and driving impact through data.
  • Love restaurants and have a working knowledge of the industry and its emerging technologies.

Background and familiarity in hospitality a plus
