Data Analyst, Marketing job description

LastPass is looking for a Marketing Data Analyst:

LastPass seeks a Marketing Data Analyst to enhance our data and reporting capabilities, refine strategies, and boost efficiency. In this role, you will collaborate with the Marketing Analytics team to develop data assets, reports, and visualizations, providing actionable insights for various execution teams. You will also work closely with Digital Acquisition, Demand Generation, Finance, and Sales teams to create innovative solutions using advanced data environments.

Who will you work with?

In addition to collaborating with the Marketing Analytics team, you will work with the Digital, Demand Generation, Finance, and Sales teams as key stakeholders. You will also receive support from robust Systems and Data teams to drive progress towards organizational and functional goals.

What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?

  • Gather and compile data from diverse sources with precision.
  • Standardize analytics delivery for recurring assets and conduct ad-hoc analyses for performance and optimization.
  • Create informative charts, graphs, and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
  • Enhance and maintain communication materials for QBRs, BOD discussions, and all-hands meetings.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to meet data requirements and deliver insights.
  • Continuously update your knowledge in data analytics and stay informed about best practices.

  • Experience in data interpretation and modeling, with a bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, including Excel, SQL, Python, or R.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $73,000 in the lowest geographic market and up to $86,250 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
