Job Description & Responsibilities
We are looking for a passionate and inquisitive Marketing Data Analyst to join our Data Analytics team, with a strong focus on bridging the gap between the Data and Marketing teams. This role will support the Marketing team with reporting and ad hoc requests, while also playing a crucial role in the data management and organization responsibilities of the data team. We're seeking someone who can elevate our marketing analytics efforts and drive impactful, data-driven strategies.
As a Marketing Data Analyst at TurboTenant, you will:
- Utilize comprehensive reporting tools, SQL, and GA4 to conduct ad-hoc analyses, monitor campaign performance, and create compelling visualizations.
- Support the Marketing team by delivering easy-to-digest data and actionable insights, empowering them to make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Lead the management and integration of marketing data from various sources.
- Be responsible for ETL processes to bring new data into TurboTenant's data lake, ensuring that the Marketing department has access to comprehensive and accurate data from all essential sources.
- Enjoy the freedom to conduct independent BI research, analyze data proactively, and identify areas for improvement.
- Have the autonomy to recognize problems or opportunities at an organizational level and take action to implement data-driven solutions that drive meaningful impact across the company.
- Oversee the accuracy and organization of TurboTenant's data lake in collaboration with the Data Team.
- Automate and maintain data processes, integrate new data sources, and update Metabase reports to reflect product changes.
- Connect user behavior with data and create comprehensive visualizations for KPIs and overall business performance.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- At least 2+ years in a Marketing Analytics role, with a strong background in analyzing and interpreting complex data.
- The ability to write complex, highly-optimized SQL queries, experience with Athena/Presto or Postgres preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel functions such as Index Match, Pivot Tables, SumIf, Vlookup, and If statements, along with the ability to produce clear and insightful graphs.
- At least 1+ years of hands-on experience leveraging GA4 for insights and performance measurement.In-depth knowledge of key metrics like ROAS, ROI, CAC, CPSU, LTV, Churn Rates, CPA, CPC, CPM, and CAC Payback, and how they interrelate.
- Experience using a data visualization platform (bonus points for Metabase) to create clear, impactful visual representations of data.
- Deep experience working with complex attribution models to extract actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and optimize spend.
- Experience with digital media platforms like Google Ads Campaign Manager, Facebook Ad Manager, and other digital tools.
- Ability to effectively interpret data and present it in easy-to-understand visualizations that support decision-making.
- A demonstrated ability to manage projects independently and work autonomously to meet goals.
Bonus points if you have:
- Programming experience with Python or R.
- Knowledge of AWS S3, Glue, and Athena for data storage and processing.
- Familiarity with API integration and data ETL processes.
- Understanding or experience with Halo Analysis.
- Familiarity with GitHub or other code version control platforms.
TurboTenant has offices in Fort Collins and Denver, Colorado. Face-to-face time is an essential aspect of the TurboTenant culture, and the ideal candidate for this role would be expected in the Denver office once a week (more if preferred).

Compensation range for this position is $91,000 - $99,000 + equity. The actual compensation offered will be based on experience.
