Harvard Business Publishing’s Corporate Learning division targets enterprises that recognize leadership development as a source of competitive advantage. The Corporate Learning (CL) team’s expertise is in creating rich, interactive learning experiences that develop leaders who shape their organizations’ futures by making smart decisions at critical moments.

Harvard Business Publishing is seeking a talented and data-driven Marketing Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent analytical skills, the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and a comprehensive understanding of marketing operations.

What you’ll do:

  • Data Visualization: Utilize tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar to create insightful and visually appealing data visualizations that drive business decisions.
    • Execute and deliver real time measurement and marketing attribution models.
  • KPI Development and Tracking: Define, measure, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to marketing campaigns.
    • Monitor and report on campaign performance to stakeholders.
    • Identify data sources and KPIs that are predicative to success.
    • Manage campaign set up and hierarchy.
  • Data Cleaning: Identify and correct data inconsistencies, convert data into analyzable formats, and improve data integration capabilities to provide a unified view from multiple sources.
  • Database Management: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data. Understand data warehousing and ETL processes to ensure efficient data management.
  • Statistical Analysis: Conduct hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and A/B testing to optimize marketing strategies.
  • Predictive Modeling: Develop and implement predictive models to forecast marketing outcomes.
  • Technology Integration: Oversee the implementation and management of marketing technologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
    • Ensure that technology integrations are properly established and maintained.
  • Process Optimization: Review and optimize marketing processes to enhance cross departmental efficiency
  • Manage External Vendors: Point of contact for marketing technology vendors.

Salary:

$80,000 - $85,000

Above is the annualized pay range for this position. In addition, this position includes the opportunity to earn our annual Performance Based Variable Pay Program. Actual salary will be set based upon a range of factors, including external benchmark market data, individual knowledge, skills, experience, location and internal equity.
