Job Description & Responsibilities
Turo is seeking a Data Analyst to join our growing San Francisco team and turbo-charge Turo’s growth. This analyst will work closely with the Growth Marketing team to help drive our user acquisition efforts, with a focus on Paid Search (SEM). The ideal person for this role possesses strong quantitative and analytics skills, is a demonstrated self-starter that operates with an ownership mindset, possess excellent communication skills, and has the ability to get up to speed quickly on different marketing projects..
What You’ll Do
- Campaign analysis and reporting: analyze performance data for paid marketing campaigns and identify trends, patterns, and areas of opportunity.
- Optimization: design and conduct A/B tests to evaluate and optimize campaigns. Provide data-driven recommendations to improve targeting, messaging, and bidding strategies.
- Data management: ensure data quality and accuracy in all analyses and reports. Develop and maintain data validation processes.
- Collaboration: work closely with marketing teams to understand campaign objectives, and present recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- Continuous improvement: stay updated on industry trends and best practices in paid marketing, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance our analytical capabilities and tools.
Requirements
Your Profile
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a marketing context.
- Experience with supporting SEM (Google Ads and/or Microsoft Ads) or paid social media marketing campaigns.
- Experience designing and executing A/B tests in marketing campaigns.
- Experience transforming data into presentations that “tell the story” behind the data.
Skills:
- Strong SQL skills required.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Domo, etc.).
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Facebook Ads).
- Google Analytics (particularly GA4) expertise preferred.
What we offer
The SF base salary target range for this full-time position is $124,000 - $155,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in San Francisco, CA. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
