Chemonics seeks a Lab Data Analyst to join the Global Health Supply Chain Program – Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) Project. The Lab Data Analyst will work within the Global Supply Chain (GSC) team, and in close collaboration with the Health Systems Strengthening (HSS) and Country Programs teams to support stakeholders such as Field Offices, GSC, and HSS Lab and Forecasting & Supply Planning (FASP) teams at HQ regarding data analysis for lab products; primarily VL/EID for the HIV/AIDS program area. GHSC-PSM is the primary vehicle through which USAID procures health commodities, provides technical assistance to improve partner countries’ management of supply chains, and collaborates with key international stakeholders to support global health initiatives. An important strategic initiative of the project has been the introduction of all-inclusive sourcing strategies with suppliers of Viral Load and Early Infant Diagnosis (VL/EID) diagnostic tests for selected PEPFAR countries.
Responsibilities Include:
- Support the collection, analysis and visualization of the strategic data sets necessary for expansion of the GHSC-PSM’s all-inclusive sourcing strategies for VL/EID programs to additional PEPFAR countries.
- Lead the data analysis and presentations to USAID regarding test numbers in country, including information from services data, supply plans, country targets, equipment and inventory, and vendor commitments
- Liaise with country teams to determine gaps or issues with data points
- Develop dashboards and reports as needed to communicate the information clearly and consistently to PSM HQ, field teams and USAID
- Together with the MIS team, assist with the data validation and maintenance for the global VL dashboard
- Collaborate in the management and maintenance of quality data in all systems specially with the Quantification Analytics Tool (QAT) and the Supply Plan Global Tables
- Manage the implementation of data analytics initiatives that create efficiencies in the day-to-day operations of members and clients both at field offices and HQ
- Collaborate on the development of training materials, troubleshooting guides, and technical delivery tools created
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in job-relevant field required. Master’s degree or other advanced training a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year of job-related experience
- Fluency in written and spoken English required
- Foreign language proficiency in French, Spanish or Portuguese highly desired
- Advanced knowledge of Excel required. Experience with Python and/or PowerBI desired
- Relevant HIV/AIDS lab commodities experience desired
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility and integrity
What we offer
The Salary Range for this position is expected to be: $52,560 - $65,700.
