Data Analyst, Growth job description

You will be part of a centralized data analytics community that encourages collaborations, learning opportunities, and thought partnership from other analysts and data scientists. You will partner with the stakeholders (e.g. Performance Marketing, Ecomm, Product) and other cross-functional stakeholders to identify key metrics and attributes that contribute to profitability and growth. You will play a key role in helping the stakeholders become a world-class data and insights-driven team.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as data and analytics expert, process owner, motivator on a cross-functional team.
  • Answer measurement and data integration questions: define analytics approach, retrieve, and manipulate data needed to perform analysis, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain domain expertise in relevant data sets and be able to think strategically about what data is critical to capture.
  • Define measurement frameworks and KPIs for business performance initiatives; prototype and/or build reports; capture reporting requirements or/and automate Power BI/Tableau reports
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and Business Intelligence developers in developing reporting automation, experimentation, and workflows.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in data analytics.
  • Passionate about driving data literacy and building a positive learning environment around analytics, data science, and data visualization topics.

The Skills You'll Bring

  • Working knowledge of key analytics principles such as randomized control experimentation, digital analytics, cohort analysis, forecast, attribution, etc.
  • Excel power user; Proficient with SQL (aggregate functions, joins etc.); Experience working with enterprise data visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, Lookr with large and complicated datasets. 
  • Knowledge of CRM/1st party targeting. CDP and Martech knowledge as a plus.
  • Detail oriented with ability to independently validate and triangulate data and analysis.
  • Curious about what drives business trends. Understanding of standard eCommerce and performance marketing metrics. Demonstrated capacity to learn on the fly.
  • A self-starter who takes ownership of their domain and establishes processes to organize requests into a manageable workflow.
  • Great communicator who sets clear expectations and anticipates questions and concerns in advance. 
  • B.S. or M.S. degree in quantitative field and 2+ years of progressive experience in an analytical role.

The compensation package for this role is based on multiple factors, such as job level, responsibilities, location, and candidate experience.

The base pay ranges included below are specific to the locations listed and may not be applicable to other locations.

California: [$74,800 - $106,400]
Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island: [$74,800 - $97,100] Colorado and Washington: [$74,800 - $89,850]
Nevada: [$70,600 - $97,100]

This position may be eligible for a bonus incentive, health benefits, a 401K program, and other employee perks.
