We are looking for a Data Analyst who believes, as we do, that digital therapy provides an unprecedented opportunity to improve mental health. As a Data Analyst, you will be a part of a collaborative and mission-driven Data Science and Finance team.

Please note: This position is NYC-based and will require in-person work 1-2 days a week at our NYC office.

About This Role

Data Analysis:

• Conduct thorough quantitative analyses to support financial and operational strategies.
• Develop and refine data visualizations that clearly communicate financial trends and forecasts to stakeholders.
• Collect analytical requirements, write database queries, and build automated reports for internal business stakeholders and external partners.
• Utilize your expertise in SQL and Python to manage financial data effectively.
• Design and implement data-driven solutions that drive business outcomes and enhance operational efficiency while adhering to SOX controls
• Own projects from inception to completion: independently initiating, planning, and executing projects within the financial domain.

Communication and Teamwork:

• Work with a team of both technical and non-technical stakeholders to turn insight into action.
• Collaborate with the FP&A team to provide data-driven insights that support product development, provider network operations, commercial strategy, and marketing.
• Communicate the story behind the data to non-technical stakeholders, translating insights into results.

Strategic Insights:

• Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights supporting product development, provider network operations, commercial strategy, marketing, and partnership initiatives/decisions.
• Navigate the intricacies of a multi-sided marketplace, within a healthcare context, understanding different stakeholder needs and market drivers.

About You

• 3-5 years of experience in an analytical role with a strong finance focus
• BA/BS in a quantitative field like statistics, applied mathematics, economics, computer science, or equivalent experience. An MBA is advantageous
• Proficiency in SQL, python, and Excel / Google Sheets. Knowledge of dbt is a plus
• Experience working in a public company and familiar with SOX compliance processes
• Comfortable with statistics and data manipulation
• Experience with data visualization software like Looker or Tableau
• A creative problem solver who knows that the first step is to understand the question
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present data stories to diverse audiences
