Role Responsibilities
As a data analyst on the safety engineering team, you will have the unique opportunity to influence and elevate our safety systems with your insights and innovations.
Develop key metrics for a profound understanding of our Safety operations, assessing their effectiveness at keeping users safe while respecting their right to free speech.
Build and maintain essential datasets, dashboards, and reporting services, serving as the source of truth for our performance indicators.
Analyze data and build analytical tools to gain insights into user behavior, thereby enhancing our defenses, uncovering moderation inefficiencies, and devising new improvements to our systems.
Provide data and analysis support for A/B tests, playing a pivotal role in data-driven decision-making for process changes.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and operations managers, offering data and analytical support to enhance product development.
Requirements
Role Requirements
We're looking for exceptional Data Analysts who are passionate about our mission and have a strong desire to make a meaningful impact. The ideal candidate will have:
At least a Bachelor's degree
Mastery of SQL and/or other data processing tools like Spark
4+ years of industry experience working with large scale datasets, end-to-end data solutions, and business metrics analytics (we are hiring all levels DA II or above).
Ability to work cross-functionally to iterate on requirements to ensure customer data needs are met
Familiarity with dashboarding tools like Tableau and the ability to automate workflows
What we offer
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 - $96,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
