Job Description & Responsibilities
The Supply Chain Data Analyst is a strategic role responsible for driving data-driven decision-making within the supply chain function. The Analyst will gather, clean, organize, validate, analyze & present large amounts of data for the purpose of optimizing supply chain performance in support of strategic and tactical objectives. This position will also serve as the conduit between the business and IT, focusing on developing, validating and deploying supply chain related reports, tools and process improvements.
Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
Data Analyst
- Compile data, manage databases, ensure data integrity, build reports, and drive continuous improvement of information metrics & data reporting. Mastery of complex data analytics.
- Develops data visualization tools to support key Supply Chain metrics
- Perform analytics on inventory data patterns and trends to determine how to best resolve constraints and to balance service, inventory and cost. Works with the local site Procurement team on Kanban, component pull and “Plan for Every Part” by providing data and tools to support.
- Perform analytics on supply chain costs such as PPV, savings, inflation & forecasts, working closely with Finance partner and site supply chain teams to make decisions on standard costs.
- Work closely with the Commodity Leaders & Supplier Management to provide required metrics, scorecards and analytics.
- Identifies & implements areas to increase efficiency and automation of data analysis processes.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting for Supply Chain team on an as-needed basis.
- Serve as the Supply Chain business process subject matter expert and is liaison between IT team and user community.
- Works to standardize and implement new business process solutions in the ERP & drives continuous improvement efforts
- Audits the master data needed to support Supply Chain, works with the sites to update & maintain
- Supports new site integrations, training and coaches’ others with less experience
The ideal candidate will be able to work individually as well as in teams and is able flex their hours to support team members in Israel, Ireland, USA & Mexico. Preference is given to candidates that can commute to sites in Loveland CO, Eagan MN, Easton PA or Salem MA.
Requirements
Education And Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering or related field.
In lieu of degree, consideration for up to 4 years of additional related experience may be considered.
5+ years related experience. Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market . Able to manage and analyze complex data translate business requirements into application requirements.
Skills And Abilities
- Ability to clean and interpret large sets of data
- Data modeling, predictive modeling
- Advanced statistical analysis
- ERP/MRP experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably Procurement focus)
- PowerBi, SQL
What we offer
Base Salary Range for this position is: $95,000 to $115,000, and bonus target is 3%; shift premium may be available depending on shift associated with the specific job opportunity. Benefits including Medical, Rx, Vision, Dental, and Health Savings Account (HSA), Retirement and Security benefits including 401k and Life Insurance. In addition to Paid Time Off and paid Holidays, each employee receives 16 hours paid time each calendar year to perform volunteer services for Nordson-sponsored events. The base salary pay range for this job level is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, business considerations, and local market conditions, as well as candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, and skills
