Job Description & Responsibilities
As the Data Analyst you will be responsible for the measurement of multiple analytic projects, experiments and pilots. You will identify opportunities to extend technology in new ways based on findings. The Data Analyst will provide a consistent experience journey for our members, regardless of how they chose to do business with us. The goal is to align our people, processes, products & services, and technology across our enterprise to deliver new capabilities in an agile and iterative way.
Fundamental Components
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to solve multiple and/or complex business problems
- Collaboration with business partners to understand their problems and goals, develop predictive modeling, statistical analysis, data reports and performance metrics
- Define success metrics
- Define key experience and performance indicators1 year experience with reporting & developing queries
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 1 year experience with reporting & developing queries
- 1 year SQL experience
- 1 year Python experience
- 1 year of Tableau experience
- 1 year experience with big data (Hadoop, Google Cloud)
- Strong knowledge of analytics tools and languages to analyze large data sets from multiple data sources.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Healthcare
- Familiarity with Call Center operations
- Familiarity with Claim Processing, Adjudication / Payment process.
- Data warehouse Exposure - Preferred
- Proven project management skills
- Experience with Aetna's data lake and supporting technologies
- Master's degree (Mathematics, Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Science, Healthcare Analytics)
- Reside within a commutable distance to Hartford, CT office
Education
Bachelor's degree ( Mathematics, Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Science, Healthcare Analytics) or 4 years of equivalent work experience
What we offer
The typical pay range:
$75,400 - $ 162,700
