Job Description & Responsibilities
We are looking for a data analyst to help us optimize performance and uptime in our cryogenic test systems. The reliability of these systems are integral to our team of scientists and engineers in order to operate, understand, and advance our quantum devices. As a data analyst you will be responsible for building tools to collect, display and draw conclusions from scientific data related to cryogenic systems.
Essential Duties
- Develop and manage data visualizations for our fleet of cryogenic systems
- Help design, implement, and maintain robust pipelines for diagnostic data from cryogenic equipment
- Analyze this data to identify insights and communicate them through compelling data presentation
- Collaborate with scientists and engineers to understand data requirements and critical metrics
- Ensure scalability of visualizations and maintain user experience for large data sets
Requirements
Required Skills
- 1-2 years of experience working professionally with data visualization software (experience with Grafana or Kibana is a plus)
- Proficiency with Python for scripting automation and ETL routines
- Experience with leading open source Python packages such as Pandas, NumPy, Plotly, etc
- Proficiency with SQL and writing database queries (experience with Elasticsearch Query DSL is a plus)
- Strong understanding of statistics and its application to drawing meaningful conclusions from large datasets
- Solid understanding of core computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and computer architectures
Required Education
- B.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field. Candidates with more experience may be considered for more advanced positions.

What we offer
The base salary range for this full-time position is $96,800 - $118,600 + bonus + benefits.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hire salaries for the position. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
