Job Description & Responsibilities
We are seeking a Healthcare Data Analyst for our Community Behavioral Health Centers!
In this vital role, The Healthcare Data Analyst (HDA) reports to the Assistant Vice President of Behavioral Health Services (AVP of BHS) and works within the Community Behavioral Health Centers (CBHCs) located in Milford and Norwood. The position is predominantly remote. The HDA is responsible for building, maintaining, and reporting data related to quality of care, risk management and outcome measures for the CBHCs. They will partner closely with the Senior Data Analyst/Business Project Manager to present data to both internal and external stakeholders. The HDA possesses intellectual curiosity, the ability to manage multiple data projects and keen problem-solving ability.
Responsibilities Include
- Work on a cross-functional team to produce data that assists in key decision making, quality improvement, enhanced patient outcomes and quality of care.
- Develop mechanisms for collecting & analyzing available data, interpret results, and make recommendations for implementation strategies
- Support data projects. Utilize organizational systems and databases to update, validate and analyze data. Maintain integrity and quality of data by understanding workflows, services, and databases.
- Responsible for routine and ad hoc dissemination of key information with the ability to deliver high-level summaries to the leadership team.
- Prepare and design documentation of analytic methods, metric development, and report production processes.
Location: Primarily Remote
- Candidates from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and New Hampshire will be considered.
Requirements
Required Skills
- Experience in data management and advanced analytic tools and techniques, including advanced Excel skills required.
- Experience in report writing, analytics, visualizations, and dashboard creation required.
- Ability to demonstrate analytical, financial, qualitative, and quantitative skills required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, project management, computer, and database skills required.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records and claims-based health care data preferred
- Usage of business intelligence tools for data visualization and report automation preferred
- Understanding of data management and manipulation and interpretation of large databases in a healthcare environment preferred
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in data science, business, mathematics, allied health or related strongly preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- One to three years’ related work experience required.
