Data Analyst, Electric Systems job description

In this role you are going to manage the reporting of the Outdoor Lighting Organization, budget, KPI and delivery and report on risks.

Key Accountabilities

  • Build strong strategic relationships with key stakeholders such as Jurisdictions, Operations, Customer Service, Regulatory, Pricing, Risk & Insurance, Distribution Design, Engineering Standards and IS – to deliver high impact and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and lead the Company LED Conversion Program from start to finish.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting on progress of Outdoor Lighting (OL) initiatives including milestone achievement, budget, KPI delivery and risks to maximize adoption.
  • Assist in timely customer street light asset sale, maintenance & new construction requests. Improve Municipal Street Light Purchase process to build company’s reputation.
  • Advocate for the “voice of the customer” and mobilize National Grid’s functional areas to balance desired outcomes of individual customers with the commercial interests of the company and impact to entire customer base.
  • Administer and improve inventory and billing systems and processes. Continuously assess and manage daily tasks with the understanding that system and process issues may arise that require immediate attention and resolution.
  • Identify, design and implement enhancements to existing policies, processes and systems to improve efficiency and performance related to all aspects of Outdoor Lighting (OL) efforts.
  • Participate and/or represent Outdoor Lighting (OL) New England on project teams working on various corporate initiatives to improve efficiency and customer service.
  • Maintain and provide training and direction for the current systems used to support the NE street lighting operations.
  • Ability to assist and/or testify in a regulatory filing.

Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required

  • Ability to communicate to stakeholders at all levels in the organization.
  • Work well in a team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant experience, and 5+ years of work experience
  • Must possess high level Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Sharepoint, CSS, GIS, Storms database skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry practice, standards and best practices.
  • Knowledge of outdoor lighting and the electric distribution system preferred.
  • Knowledge of current trends within the industry and developments in Outdoor Lighting.
  • Knowledge of National Grid's business operations, company policies and practices preferred.
  • Knowledge of standards, procedures and safety practices related in the fields of work.
  • Valid Driver's License.
