Job Description & Responsibilities
Our Data Analyst II is part of our cross-functional Information Technology Team and would be relied upon to perform data validation of existing systems and to create data driven insights for business intelligence requests submitted by internal team members and external clients. This is a cross-interorganizational role that blends consulting, design, engineering and quality assurance, depending heavily on analytical thinking, creativity in analyzing information, and the ability to multi-task in a rapidly evolving environment.
Requirements
A strong candidate would have the following qualifications and skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in BI Development, Data and/or Business Analysis, Auditing, Quality Control or Statistics including leveraging tools such as PowerBI to create reports and/or Power Apps to create productivity applications that enable internal and external customers access to information and insight into data trends
- Proven experience of at least 2-3 years in performing in-depth analysis of various data elements and working with business stakeholders to develop a story on the data, including new or unfamiliar data and data elements
- Experience with data analysis consultation and a proven ability to drive creation of stories through data insights and analysis
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases with proven experience with creating and maintaining SQL objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, etc. using DDL/DML
- Experience with transactional/procedural SQL
- Proven success in creating query derived reports and/or solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Technology or related discipline or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience
- Advanced problem-solving skills, analyzing detailed information and performing risk assessment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and highly organized, with an ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage several work streams
- Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledgeable in SDLC methodologies including Waterfall, Iterative, Lean, and Agile
- Flexibility and adaptability for growth and to learn new technologies and skills

Job Type: Full-time
Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 Annually
