We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Enterprise Data Platforms team. In this entry-level role, you will work closely with experienced data professionals to support the management and analysis of data across key platforms such as Snowflake, Salesforce Data Cloud, and Tableau Cloud.

Responsibilities And Impact

  • Data Collection and Preparation: Assist in the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from various sources into Snowflake and Salesforce Data Cloud.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Use Tableau Cloud to create and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Data Quality and Integrity: Monitor data quality across platforms, identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Support Data-Driven Decision-Making: Collaborate with business units to understand data needs and support the development of data-driven strategies.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of data processes, workflows, and reporting standards.
  • Learning and Development: Engage in continuous learning to build proficiency in data analytics tools and methodologies, with a focus on Snowflake, Salesforce Data Cloud, and Tableau Cloud.

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or Business).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Basic understanding of SQL for querying databases.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau (Tableau Cloud experience is a plus).
  • Awareness of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Salesforce Data Cloud) is beneficial.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to focus on detail while maintaining a holistic view of data processes.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot data issues effectively.
  • Team Collaboration: Willingness to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data analysis in an academic or internship setting.
  • Familiarity with data integration tools (e.g., ETL processes).
  • Basic knowledge of cloud computing concepts and platforms.

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
