Job Description & Responsibilities
A Data Analyst obtains, adjusts, and validates data imported from other systems into Illuminate products. As such, part of their work involves working directly with customers to obtain the data we need. They must be detail-oriented and able to spot data problems or inconsistencies, and determine proper remediations.
In this role, you will:
- Support districts in the overall data extract and import process into Illuminate systems.
- Identify data problems and perform root cause analysis.
- Manage the internal process and workflow for data problems.
- Assist in improvement of overall data processes.
- Work with clients to ensure that all required data elements are provided, and the data expectations are clear.
- Respond to advanced data help desk tickets.
- Work with customers to understand their data needs.
- Communicate status of data problems and issues clearly with the entire team.
Requirements
For this role, you must have:
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis.
- Proven organizational skills and workflow management.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Math, Computer Science, Engineering or similar field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Basic knowledge of ETL processe
- Experience with regular expressions preferred.
- Ability to work independently to solve problems.
What we offer
Salary Range: $56,100 - $64,200. This range is based on national market data and may vary by location.
