About The Role
Ogilvy New York is searching for a Data Analyst - someone who loves connecting social data with business results, to help steer the direction for our clients.
What You’ll Do
- Co-own/support end-to-end development of data products and deliverables to be showcased and used by multiple clients.
- Support technical implementation of data products in collaboration with Media & Strategy Teams.
- Analyze large, complex and often unstructured datasets to generate actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help guide interpret and visualize complex data sets.
- Craft stories with data and produce analytic insights from social listening & using APIs to aggregate data.
- Retrieve, collect, & clean raw research data and synthesize it into usable forms for strategy & media teams to utilize (raw data from social media channels and social listening tools, tying analysis and insights back to business results).
- Use third-party and proprietary analytics tools to generate audience, content, brand and industry insight including ability to leverage all the above for social listening on key clients, competitors, and cultural topics.
- Manage multiple client accounts and simultaneous asks by correctly prioritizing and deprioritizing work on scale & effectively communicating with larger team.
- Work closely with integrated teams on measurement plans, goals and KPI’s, and create custom analyses to improve campaign performance.
Requirements
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's degree in technical field such as computer science, engineering, or mathematics.
- 2+ years of professional experience extracting insights from large, technical data sets, and communicating recommendations to varied audiences including high-level management/academics.
- Proven stakeholder management experience - including managing multiple cross-functional partners simultaneously.
- Demonstrated experience thinking strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans.
- 2+ years of experience with a BI Tool (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).

$70,000—$72,962 USD
