Data Analyst, Claims job description

As a mid-level data analyst on the Claims Payments team, you’ll help lead efforts to modernize existing recurring reporting. In this role, you’ll migrate reporting from Excel to PowerBI and Tableau, and you’ll also prepare reports for leadership and business partners. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for claims payment analysis and ad hoc project work.

Must-have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of one year analytical work experience
  • Instead of a quantitative degree, a bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of three years of analytical work experience
  • Instead of a degree, a minimum of four years of analytical work experience

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL/SAS
  • Advanced analytical, statistical, and technical methods to solve complex business problems.
  • Familiarity with navigating through large data sets, connecting data from multiple sources, data extraction, and database querying.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and prioritize projects, provide recommendations, collaborate with, and influence various levels of peers and leaders.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with various levels and roles, including senior leadership.
