Job Description & Responsibilities
The Data Analyst II for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is dedicated to implementing process automation and developing solutions to create data insights. Acting as an internal consultant, interact with departments globally to understand their needs, propose solutions and design/support the process implementation.
This position is part of the Finance department located in Brea, CA and will be hybrid. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Global Finance Automation team and report to the VP, Global F,P&A responsible for automating global finance processes. If you thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented role and want to work to build a world-class Finance organization—read on.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop and automate new functionalities in existing processes.
- Pursue continuous improvement where there are gaps in processes or where additional data is needed for the business.
- Drive the entire data life cycle from ETL to Power BI reports.
- Support our process transition from VBA and spreadsheets to database servers in the cloud.
- Interact with the business to understand needs and propose solutions.
Requirements
The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience or Master's degree in field with 0+ years of experience.
- Demonstrated acumen using SQL, Python, and at least one visualization tool. (PBI, Tableau, Quicksight)
- ETL experience (SSIS, Hadoop, dbt, and/or Informatica)
- Ability to solve complex problems using creative, out of the box solutions
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Experience working in a Finance-related role or partnering with Finance staff is a plus.

The salary range for this role is $64,000-$80,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
