Job Description & Responsibilities
Join the OddBytes Team! Are you passionate about transforming data into actionable insights and driving real impact? Reporting to the Director, Business Analytics Strategy, the Data Analyst works with a diverse, remote team spanning the US and EU to help drive business success through data-driven decisions. You’ll play a crucial role in analyzing data and collaborating with other teams to enhance their problem-solving capabilities and support their operational processes. Additionally, you'll assist in identifying product-market fit by addressing insights gleaned from data analysis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with business teams to identify needs and translate them into actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using a variety of tools.
- Respond swiftly to same-day, ad-hoc queries.
- Analyze business and system operations data to uncover trends and patterns.
- Ensure data accuracy by investigating anomalies and cleaning data.
- Identify opportunities and inefficiencies through analysis.
- Present findings to groups including management and business leaders.
- Assist in defining and documenting KPIs and metrics.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their requirements and manage expectations.
Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 3+ years in data reporting and querying.
- Proficiency in querying log data, SQL, and data visualization platforms.
- Strong mathematical, statistical, and cohort analysis skills.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Experience with Python, SQL, Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and Google Analytics.
- Creating user-friendly reports and dashboards.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their requirements and manage expectations.
- Defining success metrics and KPIs.
- Crafting compelling narratives backed by data insights and presenting those to various audiences.
